Salacious sensation Fifty Shades of Grey has officially saturated every corner of the media market: the novels and audiobooks are international best-sellers, a movie is on the way, and now even New York City theater is lifting its curtains to give you a peek at the risqué record-breaking BDSM drama. Well…almost.
On-going from Feb 21 at the Elektra Theatre at 673 Either Ave (at W. 43rd St.), 50 Shades! The Musical is a parody of the popular series, a “comical spin on sex and erotic bedroom behaviors” that “promises all the silliness and BDSM (‘best damn songs and music,’ that is) one would expect.” Adult themes make this show suitable for those over 18.
This show is not to be confused with Cuff Me: The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody, which features parodies of hit songs and is also appearing off-Broadway.
